Driving through Çukürova, you might depending on the season see the fields full with cotton. Arriving in the town of Kahramanmaras it's time for lunch. This city is famous for its ice-cream. Of course you will get your chance to try it too. In Kahta you will spend the night.
Second Day
At 2 o'clock in the morning it's time to get up again and drive on to the Nemrut mountain. There at sunrise you see the impressive funeral mound of King Antiochus of Commagene. On our way back you visit the Kahta National Park with many historical remains and you will see an old roman bridge dating from the end of the 2nd century AD. After checking out from the hotel we drive towards Urfa. You visit the Birecik Dam project. Arriving in Urfa you walk through the town. Visit the Gölbasi, with its pool of sacred carp, beautiful mosques and Medressi (Koranschools). In the area called Dergah is the cave where supposedly Abraham must have been born. Now a pilgrimage place. The bazaar is worth taking a stroll too.
Third Day
After breakfast we drive you to Harran, with its typical houses. This is the place where Abraham and his family lived. We move on toward Bilecik, where the birds are with no feathers on their head, named Kelaynak (bald Ibis). Here you'll have lunch. After lunch it's back towards Kizkalesi
